About the Farm

Our primary mission is to make high quality herbs accessible to all; whether that is through closing the gap of distance or providing low-cost to free herbs for those in need. You can find us at local farmers markets, in a few local restaurants, and we’re available for wholesale!

Located amongst the rolling hills of western Oregon’s coastal range, you’ll find Odorata Herb Co nestled next to the beginning of Mary’s River. The farm vision started in 2023 when farmer/owner Hannah found her dream spot. After lots of work, patience, sweat, and tears (so many); the farm is now home to many perennial and annual herb species. All the herbs are started from seed here and later harvested for drying onsite. Further processed herbal products are also made here at the farm so we’re able to maintain the quality we desire for our herbs!

We believe in leaving the land better than we found it and follow strict processes to promote soil and watershed health and diversity of pollinators and wildlife. We don’t use any non-organic methods of cultivation and try to incorporate biodynamic principles into our farming practices. Eventually we hope to be certified in both!

The name Odorata comes from the sweet violet, Viola odorata. It’s one of Hannah’s favorite herbs and fills the whole farm with its sweet fragrance in the springtime!

About the Farmer

Hannah got into farming in her early 20s, after living in Arizona and feeling a disconnect between herself and the earth. She packed up all her things and moved to Oregon to pursue her dreams of working on the land! A few farm jobs later, she found her passion growing herbs. A long land search eventually proved successful and she moved to the home of Odorata Herb Co!

Hannah strongly believes in herbal access for anyone and everyone. With the state of the world and an inaccessibility of decent healthcare for the average person, she felt inspired to help people have access to herbs that can help promote their overall health.

Hannah has dedicated to learning herbalism for over 5 years through many different herbal courses and instructors. She’s always learning more and is happy to help people find herbs that will work best with their bodies!
