Digestion Blend Tea

from $12.00

A lovely tea blend of calendula, rose petals, mugwort, and mint that promotes and soothes the entire digestive process. Mugwort is a gentle bitter herb that aids the liver in releasing juices that contribute to the digestion process. Mint and rose add additional calming and coolness to the mix, toning and tightening the digestive muscles. Overall, a really nice blend for after a heavy meal, for IBS or other digestive flare ups (both constipation and diarrhea!), or for assistance in nutrient absorption.

Available in 1oz, 2oz, or 4oz sizes. Larger quantities available with preorder.

  • Approximately 2 tsp per cup of water. Add boiling water to herbs and cover. Allow to steep for at least 15 minutes and strain. The longer the tea steeps, the more bitter the tea will be (which is a good thing for medicinal purposes, but will not taste as pleasant if you’re not used to bitter flavors). Add honey, lemon, or make it iced if you desire!

Large doses of mugwort can be harmful, don’t drink more than a quart of tea a day. Not for long-term daily use, but can be used daily for short time periods to assist through stomach flare-ups or ailments! Do not use if you’re allergic to any of the ingredients.

Store in a cool, dry, dark place. Best if used within a year.

  • Calendula (Calendula officinalis), Mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris), Rose petals (Rosa spp.), Mint (Mentha spp.)
