Winter Blues Tincture
A tincture for the dreaded winter blues!! Unless you’re close to the equator and don’t experience much change from season to season, winter is hard. Even the most adjusted of folks will admit that frequent darkness and shorter days combined with less than ideal weather conditions can bring bodily difficulties. Whether it’s a vitamin D deficiency, flare-ups of autoimmune conditions (often related to vitamin d deficiency), seasonal depression or other mood disorders, or any of the other countless struggles winter can carry, this tincture can help bring a little sun into your life.
Blue vervain helps manage the stress of dealing with capitalism through the season we should be resting and sleeping, while ginger brings some warmth and heat into your life. Calendula comes in too, to help stimulate the lymphatic and digestive systems and remind you of sunny days to come!
Tincture instructions: take ½ to one full dropper up to 3 times a day for duration of winter. Shake well before taking. This blend is drying to match the energetics of a PNW winter, if you find it too drying for you, i’d suggest pairing it with milky oats tincture!
